Logistics adapted to the producer's needs: the service approach we have at Tierraverde

We explain how Tierraverde has designed its logistics operation to respond to the real needs of the agricultural sector: immediate stock, complimentary technical visits within 72 hours, and payment plans that adapt to the harvest cycles. Concrete solutions when frosts cannot wait.

When a producer calls because the thermometer indicates -2 °C for the weekend, the response they need is not “120 days of wait for the next shipment,” or “I'll send you the rate for the site visit.” What they need to know is when they will have the materials, accessories, or machinery installed and functioning in their orchard. At Tierraverde, the response is usually "immediate availability." This reactive capacity is not by chance; it is the result of a detailed planning system developed months in advance, allowing for a logistic service specially designed for the logic and pace of the field. At Tierraverde, we are our customers' allies, always ready to help them face their numerous on-field challenges.

Inventory on hand, not on the way

We maintain an immediate stock of all critical components. Each key reference rests on high-density racks within our distribution center located in the southern zone of Santiago. The inventory is updated in real-time via a dashboard that prioritizes products according to seasonality. This allows us to dispatch within 24 hours to the central zone and 48 hours to the rest of the country.

We also understand how cash flows work in agriculture, which is why we offer payment schemes that align with harvest and export calendars. Flexible installment options according to the producer's size and immediate electronic invoicing reduce financial friction and accelerate project startup.

On-field diagnosis, at no cost

Before closing a deal, we visit. Our technical teams tour the orchard, diagnose hydraulic capacities, validate the curves of pump levels, and deliver a proposal in the shortest possible time. The service is free and is carried out within less than 72 hours from the request. This prevents subsequent overcosts and ensures that every piece that leaves the warehouse has precise utility.

If a problem arises, we activate an on-site solution scheme in the shortest possible time according to the availability of the teams.

Local network that brings technology closer

Our technologies also move through a significant network of regional and local distributor companies. Each of these important allies maintains stock and specially trained personnel. This saves kilometers and hours of transport, especially in less accessible areas.

Next step: customer portal

We are at the verge of launching a platform that will greatly enhance the experience of our customers. From technical training to personalized monitoring of their systems, including a help center and real-time statistics. The best part? It will maintain the same flexible terms that characterize our current service.

The central idea is simple: a farmer dealing with unpredictable weather cannot wait weeks for a replacement part. Our system—immediate stock and permanent support—turns logistics into an insurance for productive continuity. When the next frost threatens your crops, we want the only question to be what day will they be installed, not when the material will arrive.

Soon, we will have more to share with you, but I hope these updates can provide less uncertainty in this challenging 2025.
