Help Guide

From here you can learn about your frost protection solution Pulsator 205™ and Pulsemax 360º.

Discover your anti-frost solution

In this step, you will learn about the fundamental components that form the Pulsator 205™ & Pulsemax 360° system. Each piece performs a specific function to ensure reliable and wide-ranging frost control with low precipitation.

  1. Actuator (Pulsator 205™)

    • It is the core of the low-precipitation frost control system.

    • Allows a reduced flow of water to enter and expels a greater volume at high speed and long range.

    • Its high-quality and durable internal membrane pulses the water, enhancing pulsation action, generating great efficiency and range.

  2. Emitter or diffuser (Pulsemax 360°)

    • Designed and optimized in Chile by Tierraverde to achieve excellent homogeneous water sprinkling with a wide range at 360 degrees, reaching a radius of 3.5 meters.

    • Executes both vertical and horizontal cuts thanks to its internal mechanism that moves up and down while rotating, providing a “carousel” type wetting.

  3. Microtube

    • Conducts regulated water from the main line (dedicated polyethylene line) to the base of the actuator.

    • Can be of different lengths and materials (PVC, polyethylene) highly resistant to UV radiation.

  4. Self-compensating dripper

    • It is the device that determines the inflow rate to the actuator.

    • Its flow rate determines the final precipitation and is chosen according to the planting framework (e.g., 4×4, 5×4, 6×6) and selected precipitation level.

    • Varies between 15 and 40 l h⁻¹ and is available from multiple international manufacturers.

  5. Stake

    • Vertical tubing (PVC, coligue, iron, or similar material) used to elevate the actuator and emitter.

    • Can be manufactured in various lengths (1 to 4 m or more), with UV protection and appropriate thickness to withstand field conditions.
